General Terms and Conditions
QuadX India Aerial Systems (“QuadX”) supplies genuine DJI drones, cameras, accessories and related products and offers certain repair, maintenance and after-sales services. These Terms and Conditions describe the terms applicable to purchases and services provided by QuadX. By placing an order, the customer agrees to these terms, subject to applicable law and any additional written agreement between the parties.
These Terms and Conditions apply to orders placed with QuadX. Any additional or conflicting terms proposed by a customer will apply only where expressly agreed in writing by QuadX. Headings are provided for convenience and do not affect the interpretation of these terms.
1. Scope
QuadX supplies genuine DJI products, including aerial drones, cameras and accessories, to customers. QuadX also offers certain after-sales services, including repair and maintenance, subject to product eligibility, service availability, applicable charges and the terms communicated to the customer.
2. Products
Product descriptions, specifications, images, compatibility information and availability are provided to help customers make informed purchasing decisions. Product features and specifications may vary by model, configuration and region. Customers should review the product details and compatibility requirements before placing an order.
Customers who identify a product defect, damage, missing item or other product issue should contact QuadX promptly with their order details and supporting information. QuadX will explain the available assessment, service, replacement, refund or manufacturer-support options, as applicable. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
3. Pricing
Product prices are displayed on the website or provided in a written quotation. Prices and availability may change before an order is accepted. Any quotation will remain valid for the period stated in that quotation or, if no period is stated, for 30 days, subject to confirmation and applicable law.
Any additional charges, including delivery, installation or service charges, will be communicated to the customer where applicable before the customer commits to the relevant purchase or service.
4. Payment
Payments are accepted in Indian Rupees (INR). Available payment methods may include cash, debit card, credit card, UPI and net banking, subject to the options presented at checkout or confirmed by QuadX.
Customers must pay the amount shown in the order confirmation or agreed invoice according to the stated payment terms. Orders may be processed or dispatched after the required payment has been received and verified. If a payment is incomplete, delayed or unsuccessful, QuadX will contact the customer regarding the next steps. Any cancellation, refund or payment dispute will be handled in accordance with the applicable policy and law.
5. Taxes
Applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST), delivery charges and other mandatory charges will be shown or communicated as required by law. The final amount payable will be based on the applicable tax treatment, product or service, delivery destination and order details. QuadX will issue the applicable invoice or tax documentation for the transaction.
6. Cancellation
Customers who wish to cancel or modify an order should contact QuadX as soon as possible and provide their order number. Whether a cancellation or modification can be accommodated may depend on the order status, product configuration, dispatch status and applicable law.
Any cancellation charges, deductions or refund conditions will be communicated in accordance with the applicable cancellation and refund policy and law. Nothing in this section removes a customer's statutory rights.
7. Returns and Refunds
Return and refund requests will be assessed according to the applicable return and refund policy, the condition of the product, the reason for the request, the order status and applicable law.
Customers should contact QuadX before returning a product and provide the order details and reason for the request. Where a return is approved, QuadX will communicate the return instructions, required packaging, applicable refund process and any lawful deductions, if applicable.
Products reported as defective, damaged, incorrect or incomplete will be assessed in accordance with applicable policy and law. Any restocking charge or other deduction will apply only where permitted by law and appropriately disclosed. Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights or remedies.
8. Shipment and Delivery
Orders may be delivered using third-party logistics and shipping providers. Estimated delivery dates are indicative unless a specific delivery commitment has been expressly confirmed in writing. Delivery times may be affected by location, carrier operations, weather, transport disruptions and other circumstances outside reasonable control.
Customers should inspect the package upon receipt and report visible damage, missing items or delivery discrepancies promptly, with supporting photographs where available. QuadX will assist with the investigation and resolution process. Responsibility for loss or damage during delivery will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the agreed delivery terms.
If a customer requests that a product be held or stored after the agreed dispatch or collection date, any applicable storage arrangements and charges must be communicated and agreed in advance.
9. Maintenance and Service
QuadX offers certain repair, maintenance and after-sales services for eligible products. Service availability depends on the product, the reported fault, parts availability, service capacity and the nature of the work required.
Where an assessment or repair charge applies, QuadX will communicate the estimated charges and obtain the customer's approval before proceeding with chargeable work. Additional work or charges identified during the repair process will be communicated for approval where appropriate.
Manufacturer warranty coverage and service eligibility are subject to the applicable manufacturer terms. Repair or maintenance work performed by QuadX does not automatically create a separate repair warranty unless such a warranty is expressly provided in writing. This clause does not exclude any protection required by applicable law.
10. Product Use and Liability
Customers should operate, store, install and maintain products according to the manufacturer's instructions and applicable laws and safety requirements. Product performance may depend on environmental conditions, configuration, compatible equipment, software, maintenance and the intended use.
QuadX is not responsible for problems caused by misuse, unauthorised alterations, improper installation, neglect, accidents or failure to follow applicable instructions to the extent permitted by law. Any limitation of liability under these terms applies only to the extent legally permissible and does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Customers are responsible for assessing whether a product meets their intended requirements and for complying with the regulations applicable to their operations. Where customers need assistance with product selection or compatibility, they should contact QuadX before purchasing.
11. Manufacturer Warranty and Warranty Claims
Products may be covered by the applicable DJI manufacturer warranty, subject to the terms, exclusions, eligibility requirements and regional conditions specified by DJI. The phrase “Official DJI Global Warranty” should be understood subject to the coverage applicable to the particular product and purchase; coverage is not necessarily identical for every model or transaction.
Customers should retain their invoice, serial number and relevant purchase documentation when making a warranty enquiry. Customers may contact QuadX for assistance in understanding the available process and next steps. Warranty eligibility and final claim decisions are subject to the applicable manufacturer policy.
Any shipping, inspection, repair or other charges associated with a warranty claim will depend on the applicable warranty terms, the nature of the issue and the service process. Such charges will be communicated where applicable. Nothing in this section limits any rights provided by applicable law.
DJI's service policy is available at https://www.dji.com/service/policy.
12. Disclaimer
Product information and general guidance are provided to help customers understand available products and services. Any specific warranty, service commitment or other undertaking by QuadX must be confirmed through the applicable written policy, order confirmation or service agreement.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts any representation, warranty, obligation or consumer right that applies under law and cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
13. Intellectual Property
Product names, trademarks, logos, photographs, software and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners. The sale of a product does not transfer ownership of any manufacturer's or third party's intellectual property rights.
Customers must not reproduce or use QuadX's or another rights holder's trademarks, logos or other protected materials without permission, except where permitted by law. Product and brand names are used to identify the products offered and their respective rights holders.
14. Sale Does Not Convey a Licence
The purchase of a product does not grant a licence to use any patent, trademark, copyright, software or other intellectual property beyond the rights provided by the applicable rights holder's terms. Any software or digital services included with a product may be subject to separate licence terms.
15. Confidential Information
Customers should not submit confidential or sensitive information unless it is reasonably necessary for an order, service request or other transaction. Information provided to QuadX will be handled in accordance with the applicable privacy policy and law, including any applicable obligations concerning personal data and confidentiality.
Where the parties agree to additional confidentiality obligations in writing, those obligations will apply according to the terms of that agreement.
16. Delivery Delays and Force Majeure
Delivery or service timelines may be affected by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, transport disruptions, strikes, government restrictions, supply shortages, interruptions to manufacturing or other significant events.
Where such circumstances affect an order or service, QuadX will take reasonable steps to communicate material delays and available options. This section does not remove any refund, cancellation or other rights that apply under law.
17. No Waiver
If QuadX does not immediately enforce a provision of these terms, that does not automatically mean the provision has been waived. Any waiver must be assessed according to its circumstances and applicable law.
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer-protection laws and mandatory jurisdictional requirements, disputes will be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction. Any specific jurisdiction clause should be reviewed by legal counsel to confirm that it is enforceable.
19. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be applied to the extent legally permissible or severed as necessary. The remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
20. Indemnification
Where permitted by law, a customer may be responsible for losses directly caused by the customer's unlawful conduct or material breach of these terms. Any indemnity must be interpreted in accordance with applicable law and does not remove rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
21. Import and Export
Customers involved in importing, exporting or re-exporting products must comply with the applicable customs, licensing, sanctions and export-control requirements. Customers should obtain any permissions required for their intended transaction or use. QuadX will communicate any import, export or delivery conditions applicable to the particular order where relevant.
22. Compliance with Law
Customers are responsible for complying with the laws and regulatory requirements applicable to their purchase and use of a product, including any applicable aviation, registration, operational, safety and permit requirements. Requirements may vary by product category, intended operation and location. Customers should consult the relevant authorities or qualified advisers where necessary.
23. Use of Customer's Name
QuadX will not imply that a customer endorses QuadX or its products without the customer's permission. Any use of a customer's name, logo, testimonial or identifiable purchase information for promotional purposes will be subject to appropriate permission and applicable privacy and data-protection requirements.
24. Changes to These Terms and Conditions
The current version of these Terms and Conditions will be made available on the QuadX website at https://www.quadxdrones.com/. QuadX may update these terms when necessary, subject to applicable law. The version applicable to an order, and any notice or consent required for changes, will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the terms communicated to the customer.
Customers are encouraged to review these terms before placing an order. Any material changes will not remove rights that customers have already acquired or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
